The Andouille Festival is having a Chicken Andouille Gumbo cooking contest at this year’s festival.  Anyone wishing to participate, or need more information is urged to contact Cara Keating (985) 651-5565. Space is limited and entries will accepted on a  first come, first serve basis.

St. John Andouille Festival will hold its 4th Annual Andouille themed Jazz Brunch at the St. John Civic Center on Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 9:00am - 11:00am.  This year CAJIUN GRILL is back and will be tantalizing our taste buds with a wide array of Andouille Inspired Dishes and a new this year will be our Dessert Display including French Toast Casseroel, Pecan Pie, and Chocolate dipped Andouille Chips. 

A Jazz Brunch would not be complete without a 5-piece Jazz Band.  Local artist "The Noteables" will energize our ears with the delightful sounds of their New Orleans style jazz music.

Seating is limited to the first 100 tickets purchased and the menu will feature dishes inspired by the theme of this festival "Andouille".  Tickets are only $20 a person and can be purchased before the festival by visiting the parish office at 1801 W. Airline Hwy, LaPlace, by calling 985-652-9569 ext 1167, at the CAJUN GRILL Restaurant located at 135 Belle Terre Blvd, LaPlace, at the Andouille Festival Grounds or on the day of the event at the door (provided seating available).
